He received 12,000 euros in bribes, Court Takes Decision for Pristina Inspector

Rexha was accused of accepting 12,000 euros in bribes from the construction firm's owner “Berisha Group”, Naim Berisha, for issuing permission for continuing the work.

According to the indictment compiled on October 29, 2020, accused Gafurr Rexha on September 29, 2020, in the quality of the official construction person inspector in the Pristina municipality, had demanded and accepted 12,000-00 euros bribe from the damaged firm Naim Berisha, owner of the construction firm “Berisha Group”.

The indictment reportedly said that after priorly banned the damage to Berisha in the construction permit facility under construction at the hospital's subx0>Holger Petersen”, had gone to the same one, and on behalf of issuing permission to continue the work required the amount of money of 12,000 euros.

After that, Berisha injured the case and had submitted it to the police and during the implementation of the secret measures, after accused Rexha had met with the injured Berisha in the “victory. Librania”, in the Tophane neighbourhood in Pristina, had accepted this amount of money which police officials had immediately arrested.

For these actions, Rexha was charged with criminal work “taking bribes”, from Article 421, paragraph 1 of the Penal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.
