The deputy chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) -- at the same time mayor of Gjilan municipality, Lutfi Haziri in an interview for Periscope -- has talked about the president's issue, the coalition with AAKA and Initiative, as well as other political developments in the country. Haziri has given clear answers that São would act if he were instead of the current prime minister, Avdullah Hoti, with coalition partners.
He has also spoken of the European Parliament's report on the Western Balkans for false news, the report in which his party and LDK chairman Isa Mustafa are mentioned.
Total interview:
Periscope: Mr. Haziri, who do you think should meet the post of president and how are you seeing current political developments in the country?
Lutfi HaziriThe President's post must meet the Republic. The time has come for political parties to withdraw from party demands and offer partnerships for a post which the Republic gives the president. On the contrary, this political class is testifying that it cannot achieve Hashim Thaci's format to elect President.
Periscope: Mr. Haziri, we saw how Vetevendosje grabbed the LDK raid in Podujevo. One question that really interests our readers is: Would Vetevendosje win Gnjilan in case he actually had a choice?
Lutfi Haziri: It's biased because he hasn't kidnapped Podujevo. There has been a race between the two candidates in Podujevo, where the VV's candidate, as the former LDK team, has gained confidence. But political parties have not faced directly. In the latest result, the LDK is the strongest political party there. To Gjilan, it's time. See you in the election. It will be seen for each party as representing and representing. It's not the barometer in politics when you hide behind the big oak (after the leader) to win elections and not win elections with political mercenaries.
Periscope: Mr. Haziri, you are widely seen as a very powerful personality, not just within the LDK. If you were prime minister, do you think government partners in this case AAK with the Initiative would have more correct behavior?
Lutfi Haziri: Same, I guess. Political co-operation within the government cabinet should be under the political agreement for the governing programme. No more or less. Therefore, all partners in the government have to recompet each other, but that cabinet has only one prime minister.
Periscope: For the European Parliament's study of disinformations in the media in the Western Balkans, including Kosovo. The most common concern is LDK. How do you comment?
Lutfi Haziri: Face news is a global problem, it's not just Europe's problem. Populism is also a global problem. In both cases, civilization is facing this challenge, which I believe is declining in most major political centers. I believe in Kosovo as well goes towards the decline and resolution of this problem. I don't see that report was built on the basis of real parameters in Kosovo, but it was built, too, on the basis of false intelligence production. And when a report that fights falsehood and builds on falsehood shall be doubled, /Periscopi/
