Navalny was sick during a flight from Tomsk to Moscow on August 20th and was admitted to a hospital in Siberia before being transferred to Germany.
The laboratory tests in three European countries, confirmed by the international Organisation for the Prevention of Chemical Weapons, have proved that Navlany was poisoned with a Novicok class nervous agent.
The finding causes the European Union to impose sanctions on six Russian officials and a state research institute.
Russian authorities have claimed that no traces of poison were found on the body of Navajo before transferring to Germany and refusing to open a criminal investigation into the incident. Navalny has blamed Russian President Vladimir Putin for his poisoning.
