Institute Director Kosovo for Justice, Ehat Miftaraj has named it political emancipation the resignation of Naim Fetah from mayor's position PDK's in Tried after the result in recent local elections. “The chairman's resignation PDK in Podujevo and some members of this party in this municipality after the losses in the elections [...]
“The chairman's resignation PDK in Podujevo and several members of this party in this municipality following losses in recent elections and preliminary elections should be viewed as political and accountability in relation to the party, and voters of this party in Podujeve.”, wrote Midtaraj.
According to Miftaw, this example should be followed by all politicians at the central and local level.
“If you don't win the elections, political culture is needed and gives way to others in the party that, with their vision or commitment, make changes so that the party appointed to be able to win.
It is meaningless that a political party leader or the same candidate in municipalities will lose their turn of elections for 10 years and more and still remain as the first choice for the upcoming elections.”, he added.
