The most needed injection for COVID-19 is missing in Kosovo, supply is missing by Tuesday

Although demand for Francisco is great, neither public health institutions in the country nor private drugs are already supplied with it.

Citizens who have families infected with the COVID-19 are constantly seeking solutions for supply. However, so far you have not been offered one.

The supply with this injection is expected to take place by Tuesday.

One of the citizens has reported on Express that because of COVID-19 infection, he has received blood flow, and doctors have asked him to use Francisco.

However, he said that I can't afford this injection anywhere.

He has indicated that they have searched many drugs in Pristina, but that he has been told to wait until the supply comes.

We've been looking for one drug store in Pristina, but we haven't found Fraxiparine 0.6ml. My family has been searching other municipalities, but they told me there was a shortage. I'm just using aspirin right now because I have no choice”, he stated.

While Milaim Abdullahu, representative of pharmaceutical distributors and importers, has told the Express why private drugs are missing Fraxiparina.

He has said that its supply requirements were made at the beginning of the year, but that following the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country, demand for Fraxipara has increased sixfold, so private drugs have also faced a lack of them.

Abdullahu has said the supply of 300 thousand Francisco is expected on Tuesday.

“in January 2020, when the plans were submitted, over 200 thousand Francisco. After COVID began spreading, sixfold requests were filed. The increase in demand is not in advance. But there will be 300 grand of Francisco on Tuesday. There will be both the Health Ministry and the commercial market”, he has said.

He has indicated that even during the next year, there will be sufficient supply with this injection.

However, his absence has also been spoken of by regional hospitals in the country.

Dijlan Hospital clinical director Ukshin Ismajli has told Express that they currently have supplies with all other drugs for COVIED-19 in addition to Francisco.

While, from Prizren Hospital, it has been said that during the pandemic drugs have been spent faster and that they currently lack this injection.
