Serbia's so-called office director for Kosovo, Petar Petkovovic, today and tomorrow will be in northern Kosovo, where he will visit Serb majority municipalities like North Mitrovica and Zubin Potok.
As this office reports, Petkov will be heavily introduced in Kosovo, until he visits Baja, a Serb majority village in the Sqahright municipality.
This is Petkov's first visit to Kosovo since taking office as director in this office, succeeding Marko Djurovic. He initially plans to visit the Health Centre in northern Mitrovica and the newly built lab for PCR tests.
Later, he reportedly will hold a meeting with newly elected North Mitrovica Chairman Milan Radojevic. Serbian List Chairman Goran Rakic is also seen attending the meeting.
According to the announcement, Petkov will also meet with Rector Zdravko Vitosevicq at the University of Pristina Rectorate, headquartered in northern Mitrovica.
Petkovic is also scheduled to visit the seven-member family, Nedeljkovic, with the help of the office, provided funds for the construction of the house.
In the afternoon, Petkov will visit Baja's monastery in Skenderaj, where he will talk to Bishop Teodosije of Raska-Prizren. He will also visit the Health and Tourists complex “Paradice Spa” in Baja.
All activities above the head of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija will be carried out in line with health measures outlined due to the current epidemiological situation, caused by the COVID virus-19”, the report said.
