Pristina Airport spokesman Bujar Gashi has told Kosovo that during Saturday and Sunday there have been over 170 flights, and the week has also started high, while by the end of this week there are expected to be about 240 flights.
The <x009th weekend we left behind at Pristina Airport, we had an extremely large number of flights, Saturday was the day we served over 90 flights, then on Sunday, where there were about 80 flights, and Monday was a large number, while by the end of the week, about 240 flights, round and in return”, Gashi told Kosova Pres.
As for the number of travelers, Gashi said that in just three days over 16 thousand people have come to Kosovo and that the countries most come from are Switzerland, followed by Scandinavian states.
The weekend we left behind and Monday, we served and had about 16 thousand and 400 travelers who came to Pristina International Airport. The country leading by the number of travelers, of course Switzerland, followed by Germany and other countries, Scandinavian, Austria, Turkey and England”, Gashi has said.
Gashi added to Kosovo that even travelers who have visas, without recommendation or confirmation of the responsible embassy, will not be allowed to travel to the states they want.
“Citizens of the Republic of Kosovo who own a visa in these conditions we are living in, in fact, without a recommendation or confirmation of the responsibility embassies are not allowed to travel. The same applies to citizens of the Republic of Macedonia and those of Albania who exploit Pristina Airport”, Gashi has said.
Despite the great influx of citizens, Gashi has said that at Pristina Airport there have been no problems as much as in the measures, and everything has worked with recommendations from the Ministry of Health and National Institute of Public Health.
