Montenegro's new Deputy Prime Minister, Dritan Abazovici, has fired Police Director Veselin Velovic.

Albanian politician from Ulcinj has made the decision known via Twitter on Monday.

Police director Velovic's duty was exercised from 2005 to 2011, then returned to the post in 2018.

Montenegro's new government has been voted in Friday, and that is Abazovic's first decision as the number two in Government.
