Because we have at least a doctor for the population, being overloaded with services within working hours, with the aim of establishing the quality and quantity of health services for citizens, due to shortages created by the framework that is leaving the system and other reasons, I have sought to increase the number of students at the Faculty of Medicine. I have addressed this urgent request to the Minister of Education, Mr. Likaj, at the chairman of the University of Pristina Steering Council, Mr. Bajra, at Pristina University Rector, Mr. Sahiti and Mrs. Manjuka Krliu, dean of the Faculty of Medicine, for increasing the number of students at the 2020/2021 School of Medicine. This increase enables the growth of adequate and professional health services, the replacement of elderly and retired health professionals, the fulfillment of the gap created by the country's national professionals' flight, the ability to develop and stay in the country, through the creation of conditions already made by the MS with the providing of specialisations for all professionals. I even consider that increasing the number of students at the Faculty of Medicine is national interest”, he wrote on Facebook.
