Telekom workers on Monday protest, cause bank account deadlock

The protest will be held on Monday, dated 16,11,2020 by 13:00 at the Government Square of the Republic of Kosovo.

The FSP-PTK in recent years has consistently faced the challenges our company has faced and is undergoing. We've been working our best at reporting on harmful contracts and factors that have affected the current state of the company, we've done these denouncing in the State Attorney and through the media.

The FSP-PTK has also continued with information on the current situation of Telekom, the relevant ministry and the prime minister, but so far we have encountered deaf ears. We have shown you that the Dardafon .net company has been and is a criminal contract, which has caused Telekom more than 200m euros in losses. Also, we have made it clear that FSP-PTK does not recognise this debt, but in vain...!

By 2610.20 for the second time, Kosovo Telecom has been blocked by Devollet extortioners. The second impasse within three months and the withdrawal of financial means has endangered the operation of the company and the welfare of workers. From 2610.20 to now, The FSP-PTK has made efforts to resolve this situation through social dialogue, but Actionary (the Government of the Republic of Kosovo) have not taken into account our demands for an emergency solution, leading to the preservation of the company, workers and public order in Kosovo.

The FSP-PTK has made it clear that the destruction of Telekom has come from governments and that this situation is required to be resolved by the government because the government must take responsibility for the management property, when it is known that Kosovo Telekom is the property of Kosovo citizens. These assets, the Assembly of Kosovo has been entrusted with management and development of Telekom, the Government of the Republic of Kosovo.

The FSP-PTK has a state of affairs named QQLAM, because at any moment over 1 million Telekom consumers are at risk, workers' salaries and ultimately the loss of our jobs. So we as employees have no other way out, just protest, protest and protest despite the government's measures of conservation from COVID-19.
