Covering tin cans with tin can leave enough air for bacteria and favours reproduction.
They simply put a bowl of food in the refrigerator and cover it with aluminum paper, but research has shown that this way of preserving food is harmful.
Some bacteria remain in food after cooking, and food crumbs at room temperature provide a fine substrat for these fast - breeding microorganisms.
A better solution is to store food in containers that will not allow air to enter.
