Demaj: There was a race between two LDK people in Podujevo

Democratic League of Kosovo MP Frasher Demaj has commented on the election outcome in Podujevo, where for the first time in 20 years The LDK has not won.

Demaj in rubrike Eyes 7 of the morning show in Klan Kosova said there were two LDK people in the race.

He said that speeding up Bulqi his political career and political maturity has taken him into the Democratic League of Kosovo.

The LDK MP stressed that one of the main factors for the loss of the Democratic League of Kosovo is the long-standing ruling position in this municipality.

” On the other hand, I think the main factor that has been able to influence the LDK to lose Podujevo is its long term in power. That's normal. A long power stand people want something new because the LDK loses its local power in Podujevo”.

Demaj added that the LDK should return to the new generation.

He said new qualities should be provided.

I think LDK should go back to the new generation. Basically, the war has been over for 21 years and we have to offer new qualities. Young people don't really care about the past. They want employment, they want schooling and they want perspective. On this basis it is the basic task of LDK opening the doors for new generations”.
