Covid 19 Pandemia Tests German Hospitals

She also ascended to heaven for one of the best health systems in the world. But today she too is beginning to see herself in trouble with more infection than at any other point in the pandemic. Coronavirus infections marked a record of the times Friday with about 24 thousand new recorded cases, and the record also marked the number of patients in intensive care units in the country.
Official data shows that the number of patients with a screw 10 in intensive care units in Germany has increased from 267 on September 21st to 3615 on November 20th, a 13-fold increase in just two months. Europe's largest economy has managed relatively well with the pandemic at the moment, compared with neighboring countries. And this is partly due to its large capacity of intensive therapy, with 33.9 beds per 100,000 inhabitants, at a time when Italy has only 8.6 beds in intensive therapy for 100,000 people.
But with corruption cases across the region reaching new ones, even the German health system is under pressure and hospitals in some areas are reaching their limits. German leaders warned recently that the system could collapse within weeks if the actual trajectory continues.
