Based on the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo, the sentence for this work is brought from one to eight years in prison.
According to Article 1414 of this code, the official person who uses duty or official authority exceeds his competence or fails to fulfill his official duties in order to benefit either himself or the other person or to cause harm to the other person or to violate the other person's rights is sentenced to imprisonment of (1) up to eight years.
But if the profit or damage exceeds the amount of five thousand euros, as is the case, then the chief of this work is sentenced to fine and imprisonment of three to ten years.
