That figure is far higher than what both sides involved in the conflict give.

Mr. Putin said he is talking to both sides several times a day, and that he will not take sides in the conflict, the BBC writes, translates Periscopi.

The Russian president also urged the United States to welcome peace in this region.

Armenia and Azerbaijan have accused each other of breaking the humanitarian ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh.
