French President Emmanuel Macron said France would fight the Corrovirus at least until the middle of next year, as cases there exceeded over a million.
On Friday, France registered more than 40,000 new cases and 298 deaths. Other countries, including Russia, Poland, Italy and Switzerland, also marked new raises. The World Health Organisation said increasing cases in Europe came at a critical moment of fighting the virus.
