Kosovo police repeatedly demand that anyone with information on the whereabouts of suspected persons call the police or be notified at the nearest police station.
But who are the people wanted by the police, and for what criminal acts are suspected?
Only last month have police published photos of five wanted persons -- among them even one citizen of Albania, the last one even convicted.
The 24-year-old Leon Zeqaj, born in Pec, is wanted for criminal acts: “retaining ownership, control or unauthorized possession of arms” and “Stealing”.
Osmanaj 47, born in Durres- Albania, convicted and wanted for criminal action: “Blerje, Possession, unauthorised distribution and sale of Narcotics”
Labitot Zeqaj 32 from Decani, is required for criminal action: “Blerje, possession, distribution and unauthorised selling of Narcotics”.
Condition of 37-year-old Haliti, who was tried, is required for criminal action: “Blerje, possession, distribution and unauthorized selling of Narcotics”.
Fidan Kelmendi 34, is required for criminal action: “Blerje, possession, distribution and unauthorized selling of Narcotics”.
The Police Regional Leadership in Pec, days ago, has announced that thanks to co-operation with citizens, a total of two dozen people have been arrested, with warrants of arrest issued for various criminal acts.
