Kosovo Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti has spoken at a news conference following a meeting he had with the EU's special minister for dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak.
Hoti before the media has said that the topic of Association is a difficult topic in the dialogue process.
He said that for this process we must agree with all international partners, but that according to him Kosovo is not the party that will block this process.
The Lacak's visit to Pristina is for an assessment of the Dialiog process, and for the next agenda in this process. It's not an easy process, there are difficult topics like Association, but we'll agree with all partners. Kosovo is not a party blocking the dialogue process, Kosovo after many years is a constructive party, we know why we have entered the process. We enter only full normalisation of reports with mutual recognition”, he said.
Hoti even said Kosovo has the support of partners that the Association does not have executive competence.
“Association is the closed topic of the 2013 agreement, then 2015 and the Constitutional Opinion. We have the support of our partners that the Association will not have association with executive competencies. I haven't changed my mind, and I'm not subjected to pressure, there's no issue here of pressure. I am here to do my job as prime minister”, he said.
