Haki Rugova's arrest for misuse of office, Istog LDK calls it politically motivated

So they have said in a statement issued to the media after Kosovo Police on the orders of the prosecutor have handcuffed the head of the municipality, the deputy chairman and another person under suspicion of misuse of official office.

Despite the fact that Rugova and others have been arrested for misusing official duty and forging documents, the LDK says it is politically motivated.

“The head of the Democratic League of Kosovo believes this ban has been carried out with political motives, so we believe in the impartiality of the justice organs”, said the communique.
