Although against total closure, economic experts are saying, under which those measures could lead the country to collapse with unaffordable consequences.
While in the finance minister, they say a new isolation could push Government into reviewing budget expenditures after three months.
The executive director of the American Economic Ode in Kosovo, Arian Zeka, says of Kosova Preris, that a second closure of economic activities would lead to massive closure of private companies and jobs.
Zeka stressed how the American Economic Ode believes it is possible to continue economic activity, always respecting IKSP recommendations to prevent spread of pandemic.
“Respecting the recommendations of the National Public Health Institute with the aim of preventing the spread of the David-19 pandemic from strictly applying these recommendations and these protocols so that at the same time no economic activity can be stopped, otherwise what we can see by the end of this year, even in 2021 is a massive conclusion of the country's enterprises. Also, a massive job closure, reduced budget revenues for support, and reduced the ability to support private companies, but also to deal with other consequences of the pandemic, including what has to do with public health”, Zeka says.
So is professor at the Faculty of Economics at “Hasan Pristina” Nagip Skkiner emphasises for Kosovo Press, that in no way should the Government decide to prevent economic activities, because economic collapse with new restrictive measures is inevitable.
The “does not need to go into closing down the sectors of the economy or other sectors, because there will soon be a collapse that will be unaffordable and with amazing consequences for the overall economy. But the state would have to intervene in this case in awareness of the population and not get to the overall economic and social blockade as a whole. Failure to function the budget will be an even greater blow, and Kosovo's economy will be introduced into the collapse as a whole. Therefore, examples of developed countries must be taken from”, Sk everyone says.
Deputy Finance Minister Agim Krasniqi tells Kosovo that another closure of businesses forces the Ministry of Finance to review budget expenditures within the next three months.
I'm hoping there will be no closure, but when we talk about the 2021 budget, it must be clear to all, because in 2020 where we've had a decline of 6.5 to 7 percent, over 300 million as regular budget revenues. Otherwise, if there are new economic closures, we're probably forced after three months to do a complete review of expenditures, revenues and the entire budget. So, if there's going to be closure it's going to take a 2021 budget with a revision of”, Krasniqi says.
Business circulation has been reduced by September by over 1 billion euros.
And the second wave of the David 19 pandemic has affected our country, where the number of infected has reached 418 during the day of yesterday.
