Sweetened drinks artificially increase 20% risk of heart disease.
French researchers conducted a test in which for ten years they examined 104 thousand people how much sugar they consumed, and eventually those who consumed artificial sugar drinks had a 20% higher risk of developing heart disease, writes “Daily Mall”.
They divided the people who participated in testing into three groups: consumers of a small amount, those who consumed non-diectal beverages, and those who consumed dystic drinks.
The study lasted from 2009 to 2019, and in the end, people who had consumed cola in greater quantities and those who consumed dietal cola faced the same danger of heart attacks, strokes, and other diseases.
There are other dangers that have not yet been confirmed about dietal beverages, but further studies will be conducted.
