Now breakfast, for Florentina Blakaj is not what it used to be. The alarm to wake up to go to work, now after the quarantine period is gone. For her, this period has changed her routine, leaving her at once unemployed and without a solution. At first, it was like a kind of rest, but in time it became monotonous; the transition from normal to a situation not meant for it was very difficult. In addition to remaining unemployed, she is now in danger of being cut off from her studies as a result of expenses that she can now cover only half.

Florentina Blakaj, citizen of the Istog Community

It was a big fear at first because this virus was unknown, it was very stressful that everything got out of control because we didn't know what was going on. Pandemia deprived me of many things from work, from which I provided the money for studies”, Blakaj added

According to an article published by Reuters, the study that was conducted by the UN International Labour Organization has testified to the numerous “shocks young people worldwide received, which were similar in Kosovo: job loss, education, income, and job change opportunities.

Not for all quarantine was a difficult time. For Argne Hadziaj this period was in her favour. To be introversion, to stay away from society, and to contact them less often, was not to worry. It as a single problem during that time describes access to educational institutions.

Unfortunately, being introversion away from excessive socialization has not been a problem for me. But, however, the problems have been more about accessing educational institutions after changing the performance of every” process, Haxhiaj said

Freedom Selmanaj, also from Istog, stresses that his municipality offered nothing for the city's youth. He says there is a lack of recreation sites, the city library, cinema and sports halls where youth could easily afford post-isolation from the pandemic. For them as Istog's youth, a permanent challenge remains the lack of basic infrastructure for youth capacity development.

Freedom Selmanaj, resident of Istog Community

The post-isolation period, doesn't distinguish much from the difficulties our youth faced year after year, as only different cafes and establishments remain as the only place and as the only solution where the youth of our city may, without their blame, pass the time” added Selmanaj

Albina Gashi, psychologist and also professor at the Gjimnazin “Haxhi Zeka” in the Istog municipality, thinks that the time during the pandemic caused by the coronary has negatively affected psychologically; the very perception that they were once closed, keeping physical distance has caused anxiety. The period that she felt has also contributed to a change in behavior as a result of a lack of socialism.

Albina Gashi, professor of psychology at Gimanzin “Haxhi Zeka”, Istog

<x0)solation has caused many problems in various areas, but as regards psychological aspects, stress, anxiety, emotional, family problems, financial crisis, fear of the possibility of infecting family and friends, etc. Facing at least three problems of psychological nature at the same time is not easy and, of course, the future consequences will be seen. Gashi added

Even though all generations have reported feelings of depression and anxiety during pandemic, young people are the most lost age. In these generations, it is likely that their mental health deteriorated significantly during the pandemic, according to some NRC Health statistics. As a age group, they represent an especially vulnerable group, where even before the pandemic they already suffered from a drop in mental health, leading to what experts call a <x0-bed of health “x1> Business. /Albina Selmanaj
