The bomb has been found near Berlin's Rotes Rathaus, the town hall, where the homes of the local president and government officials are located, a police spokesman declared today.
Weapons deactivation experts are located at the site where the bomb was discovered, located near the central Alexanderplatz Square in Berlin.
Police have made it possible to surround the area.
Police spokesman said the bomb would be deactivated during the day.
