The Witnesses have captured the moment a huge wave crashed into a small restaurant in Great Britain.

At Olivers On The Beach in Southeast, Essex, the 10m-high waves crash into the glass of a restaurant on the edge of the sea, while customers are eating breakfast.

In Britain bad weather and winds of over 50 miles per hour [80 km] have caused considerable damage. Houses in the city have been stripped of roofs that have fallen on the road.

Emergency agencies have received thousands of requests for assistance from people trapped on the street or in damaged residences.
