Why was General Soliman called “Bonoparti” Iranian of the Middle East?

The International Institute for Middle Eastern and Balkan Studies (IFIMES), based in Ljubljana, Slovenia, made a portrait of Iranian General Qasem Solejmani, comparing it to the Middle East Napoleon Bonopart.

General Soleiman was the invention of the Iranian regime, which wanted to be a symbol of their empire of influence (Bagdad, Damascus, Beirut, Sana). With its liquidation, it became a symbol of the loss of the idea to export the Islamic Revolution to the Middle East. Solejman became a famous star after years of mysterious activity, first south of Lebanon, where he participated in the founding of Hezbollah in 1982. He then began to take an active part in forming the Iraqi government in 2006, 2010, 2014 and 2018.
