Social Democrat Union: Duda blooms her party

It's about DSU, the party with Bosnian MP Duda Balje.

Through a Facebook text, she has explained the party's goals and programme.

“The DSU is a modern party that offers an alternative to social, economic, cultural and other challenges in a contemporary way. Our basic values are equality, solidarity and freedom. Our new party's foundation and parents are actively motivated members, their energy, their ideas, our plans...”.

We're writing to inform you of the beginning of the functioning of the newly registered political subject, Social Democratic Union (SDU).

The party was formed by a large number of people who are thinking the same way, with the common goal of providing something different in our political arena, to restore political power to the people from whom it comes, to distort political activities into people's direct interest and not by a small number of people.

Our new Social Democratic Union is a party of those who share the same ideas, of those who will work to make the changes that need change, not of those who just talk about them. The DSU is a part of those who live from work, knowledge, commitment, and not by those who live from unjust labor, knowledge and commitment.

The DSU is a party of honest people, workers in the wider democratic sense, a party of creative youth, a party of poets and artists, a party of our lawyers and doctors, a party of a responsible entrepreneur, an intellectual, a household, a person working in the use sector, a party of our children's educators, etc. Party partying oppressed, weaker, vulnerable, farmers, livestock, milk...

A party of our people in the diaspora, their ideas and their support.

The DSU will advocate social justice and a more human society with equal opportunities and opportunities for all, with the involvement of reasonable, honest and hardworking people. We will focus our energy on caring for the unemployed, increasing youth involvement in the public sector, on more dignified middle-class status, a more equal status for women, and participation of marginalised and vulnerable groups in the decision-making process.

Our (SDU) party will work hard for freedom of expression and national determination as an inevitable experience of each citizen and every member of national communities. We will try to affirm cultural and other national treasures of our Bosniaks and all other ethnic communities, to feed national traits, languages and scriptures, to protect authenticity, as well as democratic forms of cultural and other non-governance.

Because of all of them and all of them above, I'm sure we've made the right decision. The tremendous energy and enthusiasm of all who gave their support further convinced us that we were on the right track and moved us to be positive and to fight for the preservation and activism of real social democratic values.
