Al-Sabaab Group Kills Three American Soldiers in Kenya

The al-Shabab group extremists attacked an American military base on Sunday, killing three members of the United States armed forces and destroying several aircraft and military vehicles.

This was the first attack by this group against American forces in Kenya. In addition to American soldiers, five militants were also killed during the fighting, announced by Nigerian Army spokesman Paul Newgana.

The notorious group, Al Shabaab, based in nearby Kenya, Somalia, where they carried out more frequent attacks, took responsibility for the attack.

This group said it killed 17 American soldiers, nine Kenyan soldiers and destroyed seven planes.

According to Pentagon data, there are about 100 members of American forces on this base.
