As coalition talks between the Vetevendosje Movement and the Democratic League of Kosovo are blocked since the 6 October parliamentary elections for the post of president and Speaker of the Parliament, LVV appears to be making a move from its previous position in pressure on the LDK to sign the coalition agreement with LVV.
Sources show Glauk Konjourca has announced Albin Kurti and LVV's organs that he will resign from the post of Parliament Speaker to pave the way for signing the coalition agreement with LDK.
Although this was earlier rejected by LVV, they have agreed in exchange for offering the Parliamentary Speaker, to ask the LDK to give up its request for the post of president of the country to be taken by the LDK.
The LVV does not agree to switch positions and considers that only one post belongs to the LDK and not both as required. The LVV will also require that the Interior Ministry, or Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, be given LVV in compensation for Konjufca's resignation, notes Indexline.
Sources say Glauk Konjufca will offer his resignation after the assembly of the Parliament's Headship tomorrow, which he called at 11 o'clock, where it will be declared to the media.
With Konjufca's resignation, the pressure will be on the LDK to compromise to reach the coalition of hope, as both sides have promised against the electorate. The LDK will be tested by this if it aims to govern Kosovo and undertake reforms they have promised, or everything has to do with the struggle to divide public positions. Konjufca's resignation will put the LDK in this difficult position, confirm or not the coalition.
