Recognition of the Constitution: President after 15 days may request LDK prime minister

In this regard, in a proposal for news.net, Constitutional connoisseur Riza Smaka said President Thaci does not have authorisation according to any provision, but, according to him, is a legal vacuum.

He has also said that if within 15 days, Kurt fails to reach agreement with LDK, then President Thaci will seek second term on LDK.

I judge that the main cause of the instructions is the LDK, which claims the president's post and therefore blocks this issue, pushing it to the disadvantage of our country. But in the concrete case, I do judge that the President is specifically not that there is authorization based on some disposition, but that he has taken advantage of the post and acted in political opportunity under the circumstances, well done, so Mr. Kurti, who in two days will secure at least the number of 61 mandates or eventually if not then the flow of 15 days would begin, and if even within 15 days there would be no possibility to propose the government structure, then the second term would be given, but by the other candidate, namely, LDK”, Smaka said.

“There's obviously no provision that gives this authorship, but it's about legal vacuum, and now we're getting the context of the existing circumstances that has given you the opportunity of 48 hours, Mr. Kurt, rather than go to the warrant proposal and start the stream of time from today”, Smaca said away.

We remember that today Thaci- Kurti's meeting has lasted a few minutes.

VV leader Albin Kurti after this meeting has declared that he is not mandated and no name has been handed over for the candidate for prime minister.

Kurti has stated that this has simply been a consultative meeting with President Thaci and that the sooner after consultations with the Headship and General Council of the Vetevendosje Movement, I will hand over the name to President Thaci.

While Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has said Kurti finally went to his office to make the constitutional step of seeking the mandate for prime minister, but unfortunately did not.

He has said he hopes that within 48 hours Kurti will be able to nominated a candidate for prime minister, as people, parliament and our allies expect this step from him.
