Qasssem Soleman's nearest man killed

Masked strikers have today killed a local paramilitary commander in southwestern Iran, associate of Qasssem Solejmani.

Soliman, an Iranian general, was recently killed in an attack on American planes in Baghdad.

The late commander Abdolhosen Modjadam, led by Basij, is a paramilitary arm of the Revolutionary Guard, in charge of internal security and other tasks, the AP reports.

He was shot outside his home in Kuzestan province. Iranian media reported that the attackers had covered their faces in masks and that four shots were fired.

The investigation into the case is ongoing and the motive of the attack is not clear at the moment
