It has become known that rainfall has already helped permanently extinguish 32 fires in New South Wales, since the number of flames fell this Thursday morning.
Weather experts also show that between Thursday and Sunday the Bureau of Meteorology expects to rain between 30m and 80m east of New South Wales.
A total of 28 people died from the flames of horror, and more than 2,000 homes have been destroyed.
Also in Greater Sydney, including fire-hit areas, it is projected to rain 3-8mmm of rain on Thursday, 8-20mm of rain on Friday and 8-26mm of rain on Saturday.
No doubt the rain will provide firemen with much needed relief in a few months, fighting wild flames.
However, there are concerns that storms can bring more trouble.
Meanwhile, storms are likely to produce harmful winds and carry heavy hail and rainfall that can lead to flooding.
The rain also helped clean the dangerous smoke of fire that covered many cities on Wednesday, which had caused a runway at Melbourne Airport to close, and several flights were delayed.
