The first case was marked on Wednesday, January 22nd, when D.H. and S.H., husband and wife, were killed at their home in Prizren. There are still no arrests.
The second case was Sunday afternoon, where a 19-year-old died as a result of knife slaughter during a clash on the “Jevat Berisha” road. Police have arrested two suspects.
In the third case, the murder took place in the village of Suwatica. A 44-year-old man was killed there. One person has been arrested for this case.
KDI Director Ismet Kryeziu, through a Facebook post, has raised the dilemma whether lack of developmental perspective and extreme poverty are among the main reasons for collective depression and daily murder. He added that this phenomenon is now becoming a character of daily normality.
