Albania's president, Ilir Meta, has commemorated millions of victims of the Nazi regime on International Holocaust Day.
Recalling the latest war in Kosovo, Meta said genocides and such inhuman acts should never be allowed to happen again in the world in which we live.
He said he is also proud of the Albanian nation since the darkest period of humanity, protected and welcomed thousands of Jews removed from other countries, not handing over any to the invaders.
