The Lufthansa plane has announced Kosovo authorities that it will open Pristina-Belgrade airline in a very near future.
This was held at a ceremony at the American Embassy in Berlin, in the presence of Ambassador Richard Green, in which representatives of the Lufthansa company have handed the Civil Aviation Authority of Kosovo the letter they report to Kosovo authorities on this goal and require that Kosovo institutions offer the support needed as for other flights.
Kosovo Civil Aviation Authority General Director Eset Berisha has indicated that this letter is another step forward in the commitment of Kosovo institutions to full normalisation of airspace in Kosovo.
“With this comes contact between the two civil aviation authorities, between Kosovo and Serbia, as equal partners”, Berisha said.
However, this is the first step towards full normalisation of Kosovo's airspace and opening air corridors with all surrounding states. This will most benefit Kosovo citizens who exploit the services of Pristina Airport”, he added.
Berisha expressed gratitude for Ambassador Green, for the American administration, NATO and KFOR for their support in Kosovo's efforts to fully normalise air space and air traffic in Kosovo.
Presented at the news conference in Berlin, where he reported to the public on the matter, was President Trump's National Security Council, Robert O'Brien.
