Krasniqi: MKRS butcher-style fragmentation is the product of destructive thinking

Thus has Memli Krasniqi commented on the removal of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, which is envisioned in Vetevendosje and LDK plans, the two parties aimed at building a governing coalition.

In a post on his Facebook page, the Democratic Party of Kosovo MP has written that the deterioration of the MKRS is not only well thought out, but also has bad intentions.

This response comes after the publication of Vetevendosje's bid for the LDK, where it is clearly seen that the Ministry of Culture Youth and Sports has disappeared, spreading to various ministries.

Memli Krasniqi's full reaction:

The proposal for the elimination of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MKRS) is not only inconsiderately well-involved, but essentially badly. If the MKRS really breaks up with this butcher style, to distribute it to other ministries, just to say that the number of ministries is shrinking, this well indicates the deceptive thinking of those who have proposed and adopted this idea.

Diccans of Culture, Youth, Sports, Cultural Heritage and Authorial Law, even being covered by a special minister, have constantly needed more support and attention from the government. In the last term, all these areas have noted progress and success. And if in the next term they are separated and thrown one there, and another, it will be the most negative development that can happen for these areas, and above all, for communities that represent them.

In recent years, no one has represented us more decently and nothing has made us more proud in Kosovo than the successes of our athletes and artists. Instead of these successes becoming the cause of supporting them even more in the new mandate, this try-governance is officially wanting to marginalise these communities by deplore them into ministries that will never seriously deal with their needs and requirements. Because, education of holiness is areas that will certainly dominate not only the interest of those who will lead those ministries but also their identification and the appreciation of how successful they will be at the head of those ministries.

If this idea really comes true, a large portion of the current legislation that the MKRS implements will be suspended, especially the Law for Sponsorization, which, with many difficulties and objections from those who are today trying to make the new government, we adopted in the previous mandate. The removal of the MKRS will render it impossible to implement this law, making it impossible for athletes, artists, youth, sports clubs and cultural institutions to receive financial support from the private sector, which they so desperately need and have worked on for years.

For culture, youth and sports, at least they have discussed backwards, but for cultural heritage and copyright not a single word. You say these areas are so insignificant that they should completely disappear from the existing departments in the MKRS. This is not only painful but, above all, insulting and offensive. Especially for those hundreds of cultural heritage professionals working in ten MKRS subordinate institutions, for which nothing is already known. This is also true of all cultural institutions professionals within the MKRS.

I didn't think anyone who claims to rule with the country could easily undo these important dictatorships, even identities and irreplaceable, for a young, fragile state like Kosovo. But it is now evident that the destructive thinking that has distinguished them from the opposition for years seems to be the way they act in the government if they only succeed in doing it.
