In many countries of the world, the Chinese virus “convirus” has begun to spread, which so far has claimed the lives of 26 people.
This virus, which has affected over 1,000 and 700 people, is estimated to be contagious. So far it has spread to 10 countries, including the United States of America, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, Japan, Thailand, and South Korea.
So far no Kosovar has been affected with the “convirus” virus, which is estimated to be very dangerous.
The director of the Infectal Clinic at the University Centre of Kosovo, Lindita Ajazaj-Berisha, has told “Zerin” that there are no suspicious cases with this virus so far.
The National Health Institute has also emerged with communiqués for this virus. Since we have neither, we cannot say anything, see if there is. We don't have any cases suspected of that or cases that we have hospitalized for that reason”.
Ajazaj-Berisha has stated how medical staff are willing to manage the situation in cases of individuals being introduced to the Chinese virus.
“We as medical staff are ready for any season flu or cervirus coming to Kosovo. We are willing to manage the situation professionally”, she added.
Otherwise, health expert Halil Krasniqi, who works in Germany, in a letter to “Zerin” has shown that the danger at Pristina Airport for thisvirus is very small because Kosovo has no direct line to the town of Vuhan or other cities of China and contact with the Chinese population is dense. He has stressed that “contour” requires adequate treatment in case of contact with infected persons, so it's important to book at the airport, in initial treatment, isolation with professional training of medical personnel and passenger control. /Sound/
