Kim Jong warns the newest strategic weapon against US

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un said today that his country will continue developing nuclear programmes and will present a new strategic <x0 strategic framework” in the near future, according to state media KCNA after the United States lost a deadline for a resumption of disarming talks [...]
While the U.S. makes <x0 needs similar to gangs”, including continued military exercises with South Korea, the adoption of sharp weapons and sanctions, there is no reason for North Korea to be further restricted by the so-called ballistic missile test, Kim said, according to KCNA.
Kim gathered the Labour Party's policy-building committee at a four-day meeting after the US failed to respond to its repeated calls to reopen negotiations, dismissing the deadline as gyartificial.
“Bota will witness a new strategic weapon that will be owned by the RPDK in the near future,” Kim, using the acronym for the official name of North Korea, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
Hours after Kim's statement, US President Donald Trump told reporters that Kim had signed an agreement on nuclear disarming and that he thinks North Korean leader was a <x0 user of the word”.
US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said he hoped North Korea “would choose peace”.
Kim had earlier said he might have to look for a new “path” if Washington fails to meet his expectations.
U.S. military commanders said Pyongyang's actions could include testing an intercstine ballistic missile (ICBM), which it has halted since 2017, along with nuclear tests.
Tension has increased at the end of the year's deadline, as North Korea carried out a series of weapons tests and developed a war rhetoric with Trump.
Nuclear talks have made little progress, even though Kim and Trump have met three times.
Harry Kazianis, senior director of Korean Studies at the Centre for National Interest in Washington, said Kim is provoking with threats to hit the US with a nuclear weapon in order for the latter to make as many concessions as possible.
The North X0/Crea, in fact, éia has put the ICBM to the head of President Donald Trump in order to win the two concessions it wants the most: easing sanctions and some kind of security guarantee,” he said.
