Iran has again dismissed claims that one of the missiles released by this country has crashed the Ukrainian plane near the capital of Tehran on Wednesday.
The chief of civil aviation said on Friday he was sure the plane was not hit by a missile.
The response came following claims by Western leaders that evidence has shown that the plane was hit by a missile in the air, possibly by mistake, the BBC writes.
The crash of International Airlines's PS752 flight resulted in the loss of 176 lives.
The tragic case came just hours after Iran carried out missile attacks on two air bases accommodated American forces in Iraq, the periscopi sent.
