Eight people have been detained for illegal logging in the Ferizaj region alone.
Police from the Ferizaj region within the framework of the operational plan “Forest Protection 2020” have banned in the last two days eight people related to logging and illegal wooden transport.
In this case, eight different means of transportation have been confiscated, as well as a supply of trees, being illegally transported, without paper conveying or sealing.
In connection with the case, officials from the Ministry of Agriculture have been informed of Kosovo's Forest Agency, which has pronounced eight sheets of illegal wooden transport, and have made the seizure of timber.
During the documentation check, it has resulted that all transport vehicles had expired with registration deadlines and eight anti-inference paper submitted to drivers.
