Pope Francis has apologised for beating the hands of a woman who violently caught her during the New Year's event in St. Peters Square.
Videos made from Vatican television, showed images where the nervous Pope hit the woman's hands.
The pope during his New Year's speech apologized, saying: “Love made us endure. Sometimes we lose patience, so do I. I'm sorry for the bad example I gave yesterday”.
Pope Francisco's last day of 2019 has gone wrong with a fiery fan who seized him by hand and did not let him go, until Francisco struck her hands.
