Eliza Hoxha in defense of Badoci requires that lake be protected by law as national resources

Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Eliza Hoxha has come up to protect citizens in the initiative to protect Badoc Lake from which Kosovo capital citizens are supplied with drinking water.

Through its Facebook page, PDK deputy from Pristina has invited all political parties to support the PDK's initiative in the capital, which has invited extraordinary sessions to discuss and prevent the degradation of public space around Badoc Lake.

Eliza Hoxha's full response:

The water is neither party nor should be used for political purposes. But politics can be used and put into service to solve the problem with Badofci. For many years, Pristina, our capital, has been led by wrong policies. As a result, we face situations that endanger the environment and the lives of citizens themselves. As deputy to the Kosovo Republic's deputy coming from Pristina, she strongly supports the civic initiative to protect Badofci. Pristina has always been my concern even in my studies, scriptures and books that I have devoted to it and to the challenges it has been going through over the years. At the same time, I am extremely happy that the PDK branch in Pristina has started collecting signatures for extraordinary sessions at the Municipal Assembly in Pristina. I invite all assemblyists of all parties in Pristina to gather and resolve this situation. I don't think anyone's against development. But they must be in line with the law, the provisions in force, the planning documents and not violate common interest in a better city for all and water. Pristina needs natural Badofci with infrastructure turning it into natural destination as a national protected resource.
