In Clan Kosovo Zone B, Daut Haradinaj has confirmed that he will not be part of the mayoral race.
I am comfortable with my duties so far and the mandate I received from citizens. The only responsibility I will have in AAK will be that of the branch chairman in Decani, if I am entrusted with”, Haradinaj has said, Kosova Clan reports.
I won't be a member of the leadership, I won't compete for the General Council, but only for the branch. It will support the new structures and that's why we have internal elections”.
Haradinaj has said that the announcement of domestic elections to be held by June 2020 has occurred after the outcome in the October 6th 2019 elections.
We've run tests, there's been various arguments. We are not satisfied with the outcome, although there have been good results in municipalities. With domestic elections we intend that the AAK is not represented only by one region”.
