Coronavirus, Kosovar doctors form a working group, say that so far there are cases of the Chinese virus

At the National Institute..., a meeting was held between the Committee on Infectious Diseases, where there was discussion of viral pneumonia with coronarys.

IKSHPK executive director, prof. Dr. Nasser Ramadani, in regard to this disease, said we still have no officially confirmed case, with the Coronavirus. But, he stressed, it is necessary to activate all state and institutional mechanisms in case of any suspicious cases.

He also said that the Institute... is willing to manage all cases and convey the epidemiological situation, while adding that there is no need for panic, but, according to him, it needs care.

Representatives from the WHO Office in Kosovo, prof. Dr. Isme Humolli, said that danger communication with public and health workers is already being made. While, he said measuring the temperature of laser travelers at Pristina Airport may not be so effective in discovering this epidemic.

Prof. Dr. Ariana Calaveshi said there are some uncertainties regarding this epidemic, such as the period of incubation of the disease, which is not yet known correctly.

On the other hand, the director of the Infectious Clinic, Dr. Lindita Ayzaj, related the fact that they have applied to be equipped with masks and other protective devices, as well as showed the plan to create a isolation department within this clinic in case of a case.

At the end of the meeting, it was decided to form a working group in connection with the viral pneumonia of the coronavirus.

The Committee on Infectious Disease recommends that all adhere to the recommendations of the National Institute.
