Citizens complain of expensive consumer products

According to the Kosovo Statistics Agency, consumer prices in December last year have been expensive for 0.2 per cent, compared to the same period a year earlier.

The price has been raised in products such as meat 6.5 percent and vegetables 5.7 per cent. And this price hikes are being seen this month.

Citizens say prices are rising for each holiday, saying they are not being seen at all what the citizens' chances of buying these products are.

Fahrije Pajaziti, a Pristina resident, says that prior to the New Year's party on the green market, all the articles have been expensive.

Living alone with her husband, she says of Kosova Prees, that it is not hard to afford the price of food things.

That prices are becoming unaffordable, says citizen Lumnije Halilaj, under which there are continually rising prices of basic foods in the country.

However, citizen Bajram Osmani says that if prices are raised because it is not imported from Serbia, it is acceptable to him.
