American President Donald Trump is starting to brag after Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg told him it's” number one”, on the largest social networking platform.
I dined with Mark Zuckerberg one day and he said he'd congratulate you, you're the number one on Facebook”, Trump said.
The president speaking in a direct interview with radio show host Rush Limbaugh did not specify when dinner happened. Trump noted the importance of social networks in his messages, which depend on the bypassing of most professional news media, which he accuses of prejudice against him.
Social media platforms in the US have been criticised for allowing fraud and deninforms in the establishment of 2020 presidential elections. Trump itself has repeatedly used Facebook and Titan to postpone false statements and conspiracy theories.
Both of these platforms have responded by saying they will not try to remove politicians' lies because their statements enter under the “news category”.
Trump is a number one on Facebook in terms of spending political advertising, leading to accusations that the company is unjustly influenced by the Republicans.
