Many studies have shown that black chocolate strengthens the immune system, heart health, and memory, but this is the first study that has seen how these effects vary depending on the type of chocolate you eat.
Scientists from the University of California have discovered that chocolates containing over 70% cocoa improve brain and heart health by increasing circulation and reducing inflammation.
In addition, researchers say that black chocolate reduces stress.
“Our studies show that the greater the cacao percentage in a box of chocolate, the more positive the impact on memory, mood, immune system and in general health”, researchers have said.
It is noteworthy that the cocoa is rich in antioxidants in trees and vegetables and that they soften inflammation.
