The accused of possession of narcotics with the intention of selling, Ardian Ymeri, has pleaded guilty at the initial session held Friday at the Constitutional Court in Gjakova.
He is accused of possessing marijuana-type narcotics, weighing 1.71 grams, reports the “Justice Trust”.
After reading the indictment by prosecutor Ali Uka, accused Ymer stated he pleaded guilty to the criminal offense he was charged with.
“I accept. I used the bar for personal needs. True, I have given the narcotic to my friend two times and that he gave me from 1 euro”, accused Ymer said.
Prosecutor Uka has not declined to plead guilty on the part of the accused, adding that the court during the appointment of type and sentence is to consider the accused's sincerity.
While the defendant's defender, lawyer Agim Harachia, committed to official office, stated that his client admitted guilt after consulting him and that he has done so voluntarily after announcing the consequences and benefits of admitting guilt.
He added that the court should consider it a facilitating circumstance to admit guilt on the case of pronouncing sentence.
Judge Mentor Bajraktari, after he has approved the guilty's plea, has set February 4th for a plea.
Otherwise, according to the pre-conventional Prosecution Act in Gjakova, Ardian Ymeri, is accused of possessing narcotics-type marijuana for the purpose of selling.
As it says in the indictment, on the critical day of October 9, 2019, about 7:00, on the “Mother Teresa” in Gjakova, just outside the front door of the defendant's apartment, has been stopped by the unit.
