The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a string of storm alarms Sunday evening for residents.
Videos posted in social media have shown dust storms falling over Dubbo and in surrounding towns that were so thick that they blocked the sun, writes The Guardian, translates Periscope.
Bureau Meteorologist Rose Barr said Sunday's rain was significant and focused on the central and northern part of the state.
According to predictions, storms would continue from the moon. Tomorrow we're going to have a very strong storm, especially in the Southeast and Central East parts,” said further Barr.
