Today, 21 years of massacres committed by enemy forces in the village of Rogova of Hasi, where Kosovo Liberation Army fighters were ambushed, but not many village civilians were spared.
On January 27, 28, and 29, 1999, 21 persons were killed in this village.
There heroicly gave their lives: Agim Zeneli, Luan Smajli, Agron of Sej Sejko, Mej Lischi Pren, Agush Joci, Valon Gashi, Bahtir Morina, Daut Kelmendi, Emrush Ceta, Kasim Shala, Hamdi Berisha, Gezim Ademi, Haxhi Lupjan, Gasper Karaci, Ilir Mertur, Naim Gashi, Naim Dresaj, Sahit Krasni Krasniqi and Vesel Avli.
To honor the martyrs, today at 10: 00 a.m. in Rogova, Hasha is held a memorial gathering and homazhe at “The cemetery of martyrs”.
On these very dates, but in the villages of Bishazhi and Goden, nine others also died.
Therefore, under the auspices of the Gjakova municipality and war organizations of the KLA are held the memorial academy in honour of these 30 martyrs.
The academy is held at the Palace of Culture “Asim Vokshi” in Gjakova beginning at 12:00.
