In the Central Election Commission (KQZ), they have submitted the certificate application and the list of candidates a total of 25 political subjects are 20 political parties, four coalitions and an independent candidate.
Their certificate begins today, while expected to end Tuesday, CEC spokesman Valmir Elezi has confirmed it for Online Economy.
While he has announced that during the weekend parties have been able to make the latest changes on the list.
“Certification of subjects and candidates is believing that it will begin during today and complete by tomorrow, so September 10th, as planned with the CEC's operational plan”.
“We can confirm that over the weekend political subjects have been able to do correction, or improvements have asked the offices for registration of political parties and Certification”.
Elez has warned that there may be a failure to comply with any subject or candidate. On September 17th, the draw of lots will be made for the ranking of political subjects in the ballot.
“Of course the CEC can make a decision on the Certificate of political subjects, but also the CEC may not approve the certificate of any political subject or any candidate”.
“In these circumstances if we are going to have any denial of certificates, political subject or candidate can file a complaint to the Election panel for Ances and Parashtres and the CEC will expect the decision of this institution to process it further”.
“Vlen is mentioned as drawing lots for ranking political subjects on the ballot will become September 17th”.
He has further clarified that even the period for voter registration outside Kosovo ends Tuesday.
The period for voter registration outside Kosovo began on August 30th and will be closed during tomorrow, Tuesday, September 10th. So with the end of this period, we're going to have the data of the number of applications that the CEC's voting service has accepted during this time”.
I can say that this period has so far continued without any problems so we have not had any problems appearing during the time of application to register as voters outside Kosovo”.
According to Elez, the way of application is determined by law, if they have consistently worked to simplify these procedures.
“The CEC has been constantly trying to create facilities so that all those who meet legal criteria can register as voters abroad and then six months of voting that starts on September 18th and ends on October 4th can vote through voting operation via post”.
Compared to the 2017 elections to be registered as voters outside Kosovo have been available four days longer, while to vote more, Elez has clarified.
“The CEC has been trying to make the most of the facilities we've made more days available for the application period to register as voters abroad and if we make a comparison to 2017 for this period we've had six this year so in 2019 we've had four more days. At the same time, the voting period is one more day compared to 2017<18x1>.
In the October 6th elections, according to the fair voting preliminary list, there are 1,972 466 voters.
And 33791 names have been removed from the voter list after they died or gave up the citizenship of the Republic of Kosovo.
